Do I need a partner? ¿Necesito pareja?

No. Workshops rotate partners and socials are open dancing. Most people come solo.

What level do I need to be? ¿Qué nivel necesito?

Any level. Workshops span Traditional, Moderna, Sensual, and BachaZouk, and every artist teaches so the whole room can follow, whether it is your first weekend of Bachata or your tenth year. You will get the most out of it if you know the basic step, but that is the only prerequisite.

Cualquier nivel. Los talleres abarcan Tradicional, Moderna, Sensual y BachaZouk, y cada artista enseña para que todo el salón pueda seguir, ya sea tu primer fin de semana de Bachata o tu décimo año. Le sacarás más provecho si conoces el paso básico, pero ese es el único requisito.

Can I buy a social-only ticket? ¿Puedo comprar solo la entrada al social?

Social-only entry will be available at the door each night. Full Pass holders get in free and skip the line.

What are the Jack & Jill rules? ¿Cuáles son las reglas del Jack & Jill?

Partners are drawn at random, songs are chosen by the DJ, and a panel of the visiting and local artists judges. Full rules will be posted on Instagram before the event.

What should I wear? ¿Qué me pongo?

Anything you can move in. Dance shoes or smooth-soled shoes for the workshops; dress up for the socials if you like.
